JEE Main 2026: Ranks, Percentiles & Pattern

Exam Pattern: 300 Marks Total. Physics (100), Chemistry (100), Maths (100). Each subject has 20 MCQs and 10 Numerical value questions (attempt any 5).

Targeting 99+ Percentile: To secure a 99+ percentile (Under AIR 15,000) and guarantee a seat in top NITs/IIITs, you generally need to target a raw score of 180 – 200+ marks depending on paper difficulty.

JEE Advanced Cutoff: Historically, the general category cutoff to qualify for JEE Advanced hovers around the 90-93 percentile mark (approx. 90-105 raw marks).
